British Marine plc is an international ocean freight transportation company, which operates and manages a portfolio of owned and chartered-in vessels of supramax, handymax and panamax types. The company is headquartered in London, England, and has offices in Singapore, Mumbai and New Delhi in India.
British Marine plc is a service company, pledged to satisfying the freight requirements of its expanding base of industrial customers, with the bulk of our revenues being derived from voyage charters and contracts of affreightment. Our customer base includes mining companies, power plants, steel mills, grain and fertiliser producers, and other intermediaries of major and minor bulk commodities. British Marine has a strong regional presence in India, China and Southeast Asia, performing in-house technical management of its fleet through its offices in India, where it has access to a pool of highly qualified shipping personnel.
